We were the sub-consultant to URS provided construct-ability review during the final design phase for plans spec and estimate. O’Bunco also provided field inspection services for the project. Our detailed scope work includes: Review and comment on plans, specifications, and other design deliverables as requested, Observed Contractor’s work methods, products, and materials; monitored compliance with approved submittals and construction contract documents. Documented non-conforming work. Documented all project activities on a daily basis. Monitored schedule progress. Prepared/maintain inspection correspondence, records, and reports. Monitored permit compliance and endeavor to resolve any known violations of the local ordinance and other specific permit conditions. Including Supporting RE in change order price negotiation. Work scope includes long platform adjacent to the tracks, with five shelters to provide cover for commuters as well as ticket kiosks. A parking lot across the tracks holds approximately 220 vehicles.
